I had the privilege to be able to call Chicago home for the last decade, while I was working on a PhD at Northwestern University. My abode is the crossroads of Ridge Avenue and Pratt Boulevard, and this blog documented, albeit belatedly, the last one and a half so years of life life based in that unpretentious and adorable neighborhood. Now I have moved on and I continue to see the world through a certain lens, which in large part was formed without realizing it at the time. I leave this blog as a textual companion to my Flickr photostream and I know one day I will come back to Pratt and Ridge and perhaps give this blog a proper burial.
